Do Kratom Capsules Dissolve Faster in Soda?

What Happens When You Drop a Kratom Capsule in Soda?

To follow up our first two tests, we ran another simple experiment:

What happens when you drop a kratom capsule into soda?

Same setup—room temperature liquid, magnetic stirring machine—but this time, we used a can of ginger ale.

The reaction? Not great.

Bubbles formed fast, but the capsule just sat there. We waited. And waited. After 10 minutes, it was still mostly intact. Eventually, we gave up and moved on.

It was by far the slowest test we’ve done—slower than water, and way slower than the poked version.

So while the fizz might be fun, soda’s not helping your capsule break down anytime soon.

👉 Next up: What happens if we cut the capsule open?

👉 Curious how capsules hold up in stomach acid? Here’s our acid test.
