What Happens When You Drop a Kratom Capsule Into Stomach Acid?

After testing how capsules dissolve in plain water, soda, and even when poked with holes — we wanted to simulate what actually happens inside your body.

So we created our own DIY stomach acid test using a mix of vinegar and citric acid. The setup stayed the same: room temperature, magnetic stirring machine, and one capsule dropped in without any poking or cutting.

The result?
The capsule started to break down in under three minutes — noticeably faster than our water test, where it took closer to eight.

It’s not a perfect replication of stomach acid, but it gives a better sense of how kratom capsules might behave after you take them. And it raises a good question:
